Break Details

Two or Three nights

Two and three night breaks are available during the week and over weekends.

One Day workshops

One day workshops are also available. Please contact us for information and availability.

Group Sizes

Yogapot groups are small, maximum 6, the atmosphere is friendly, informal and peaceful.

A typical day would involve

  1. Sunshine yoga or Pilates. To wake you up and prepare you for an enjoyable day making new friends and creating your own pottery.
  2. Pottery (a.m.). During the two or three days we aim that you will create 2 pieces of work.
  3. Lunch. Will be freshly prepared, using healthy ingredients. Vegetarian options are available.
  4. Pottery. (p.m.). Continuing the mornings work with one to one throwing tuition on the  wheel.
  5. Yoga and meditation. Relaxing and  preparing you for a lovely evening, with your new friends.
  6. Drinks and canapés. Enjoyed in the garden weather permitting.

Pottery

During your two/three night break we aim to help you create two pieces of work. One will be hand built, and the other will be a thrown piece on the wheel.

You may want to create a piece of art, or make a functional pot for your kitchen. You may want it a particular colour or as a present for a friend.

When you book your break we will telephone you to discuss design options so we all have a good idea what you would like to achieve.

As clay takes some time to dry , your pieces will be forwarded to you after glazing and firing. You will need to wear casual and comfortable clothing for the yoga/Pilates as well as the potting. (Aprons are available, Potting can be a messy business)

La Casita - The Studio

La Casita - The studio

La Casita, was built in 1993 specifically as an artists studio.

It is very light and airy and two sides of the building are made of glass. In 2000 the ground floor was converted into a pottery and upstairs is now used as an exercise studio.

Accomodation

Guests will be staying in the riverside pub and hotel, which is a converted 17 th century coach house, or the adjacent grade 2 listed guest house (2 mins from studio). All rooms are en suite.

Evening Meal

Evening meals (which are not included in the break price) can be taken in the pub restaurant, or in any of the many excellent restaurants in the area.
